Granule x Romance Track Bike

The guys from Romance produce cycling apparel that is on fire at the minute. With a collection that is set to grow this year we teamed up to produce a track bike that best represented them and their apparel. It’s the pre ride coffee and post ride beer. It’s the early mornings and sunrises. It’s back streets, back lanes, and back sides. It’s planning Alps trips over pizza and good chat. It’s reminiscing about Alps trips over pizza and great chat. It’s stinging mountain switchbacks and romantic descents on empty roads. It’s sweat and hurt and second winds. It’s friends for life. It’s outside and it’s freedom.

The frame is a combination of Columbus HSS, life and Zone, tubing is aggressively shaped for performance on the boards. We set out to design a bike to withstand the demands of track racing, but also have the flexibility of being able have a front brake added at some point in the future. The Columbus Fel tapered carbon forks provide stiffness for pin sharp handling. Romance also work with Parcours on their road bikes and we were more than happy to see a set 80mm Crono on this build.
