Project Description

Daniela wanted a frameset that would be suitable for flat-out competitive efforts as well as long days in the saddle. Carefully considered frame tubes were chosen and ultimately deliver a responsive, agile ride.

An oversized tapered headtube helps deliver responsive, pin-point precise steering. accepts a narrow 27.2mm seat post to help keep the weight down. A standard BSA threaded bottom bracket ensures she’ll never suffer from BB squeaks like all those press-fit frames.

Award Winning Framebuilder – Bespoked

Tenterden based bicycle frame builder Granule Frameworks picked up an industry award this year when he was presented with an ‘Outstanding New Framebuilder’ award at Bespoked - The UK Handmade Bicycle Show.

This is the first year that Granule Frameworks has exhibited at the event which attracts over 100 independent businesses in the bicycle making industry and around 7000 visitors. Granule Frameworks was awarded the Outstanding New Framebuilder Runner Up award in a category that recognises new talent in the industry. Shaun Wakefield, owner and maker at Granule Frameworks, says he is “delighted to receive the recognition amongst such an array of talented craftsmen”.

Ashford Road RT sponsorship

Granule Frameworks are proud sponsors of Ashford Road Cycling Club's Race Team. In the club's first year affiliation with British Cycling and SERRL, the team have attracted many sponsors and participated in a variety of events. These have included local crits, SERRL road races and local time trial events. As a member of ARCC and the race team, A Granule Frameworks bike can often be seen being put through its paces regularly at races and events.
